Parental Involvement
-
As a unit we know that the children’s learning begins at home and we strive to work with parents and carers to continue the learning journey, working together to consolidate their child’s learning through play. We encourage parents and carers to share the children’s learning achievements at home and they are regularly invited to speak to staff about their child’s progress. We feel this open-door policy to parents is important to keep strong ties between school and home.

Parental involvement is vital to us.
-
We operate an open-door policy where staff are present to chat to parents and carers. We regularly invite parents into Early Years on special INSPIRE lessons and stay-and-play sessions. These times give parents a chance to see what their child has been learning in school and also time to talk to the adults working with their child.

Each child will be given a key worker who will be responsible for building a secure relationship with child and parent.
